How to use it: enter your pay in Salary Converter and check every frequency, then open Take-home Pay and pick your country. Model a raise in Salary Hike, line up two roles in Compare Offers, then plan spending in Budget & Savings. Currency only changes formatting — amounts are never converted between currencies.
Converter details: the conversion table shows base pay and guaranteed cash for every frequency (fortnightly is 26 payments per year; twice-monthly is 24). Guaranteed bonuses are included in guaranteed cash while variable bonuses stay separate as uncertain income. Work assumptions default to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 52 paid weeks per year and a 1.5x overtime multiplier — paid leave never reduces fixed salary, while unpaid-leave days and overtime hours adjust the effective hourly rate explicitly.
Take-home estimates, not payslips: figures are annual estimates using the publication tax years shown beside each result (USA 2025 filed in 2026; UK 2025/26; Canada 2025; India FY 2025-26). Dividing an annual estimate by 12 gives an average, never an exact monthly payslip. Enter manual state and local tax for the USA — missing amounts are flagged, never treated as zero. Variable bonuses stay excluded from take-home. The optional India CTC breakdown separates employer PF, gratuity and non-cash benefits from spendable cash, and components are never invented.
Hike, offers and budget: Salary Hike supports current plus percent, current to new, and target modes, with an estimated net change via the selected country module (a zero starting salary is handled without division errors). Compare Offers requires both offers in the same currency — there is no exchange-rate feature — and compares guaranteed cash after job costs. Budget & Savings starts from monthly take-home, adds additional income with an explicit tax treatment, keeps savings and investments as transfers (not consumption), never auto-reduces planned savings on a shortfall, and projects 12 months from a starting balance with an optional raise, extra income and balance growth.
Privacy and sources: every calculation runs locally; nothing is sent to a server, analytics, logs or storage. Sources: USA — IRS Rev. Proc. 2024-40 and SSA 2025 COLA fact sheet; UK — GOV.UK Income Tax, National Insurance and student-loan deduction tables (2025/26); Canada — CRA 2025 rates and brackets with CPP/EI maximums, Quebec via Revenu Quebec tables; India — Union Budget 2025-26, PIB release and Income-tax Department Budget FAQs (FY 2025-26 / AY 2026-27).
Yes. It is free with no signup, no account and no usage limits across all five modes.
No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored, logged or shared — leaving the page removes it.
No. The currency selector only changes formatting (USD, GBP, CAD, INR and others). Amounts are never converted between currencies and there is no exchange-rate feature.
No. They are annual estimates for the stated publication tax years; the monthly figure is the annual estimate divided by 12 — an average, never an exact payslip. Unentered state and local taxes are flagged as missing, never assumed to be zero.
USA (2025 federal plus FICA), UK (2025/26 Income Tax plus NICs), Canada (2025 federal plus provincial) and India (FY 2025-26 old and new regimes, with an optional CTC to in-hand breakdown). A No country option keeps conversion only.
Guaranteed bonuses are included in guaranteed cash and flow into take-home; variable bonuses are shown separately as uncertain income and stay excluded from take-home, CTC take-home and offer comparisons.
No. Direct comparison is disabled until both offers use the same currency, because no exchange conversion is performed. Switch both to the same currency to compare guaranteed cash after costs.
Budget starts from monthly take-home plus additional income (with an explicit untaxed, taxed or unknown treatment), subtracts listed expenses, then sets aside planned savings and investments as transfers. The 12-month projection compounds from a starting balance with optional extra income, an annual raise applied from month 7, and monthly balance growth.
