Create PDF salary slips with itemized earnings, deductions and net pay. Choose five designs, save reusable profiles and import editable payslip drafts.
Saved on this device: opt in below (section 6) to keep templates, profiles and drafts in this browser.
Enter actual PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS amounts from payroll. Country selection supplies fields and labels only — it never calculates statutory amounts.
Adds a basic-pay row from a period gross you enter. Annual tax estimates are never converted into period withholding.
Create a PDF salary slip (payslip / pay stub) with itemized earnings, deductions, reimbursements and net pay. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded, and there is no signup, server storage or payroll database.
Start a new slip, load the labelled sample, import a JSON/ZIP backup, or open a template, profile or draft saved on this device.
Select your country (India, UK, Canada, USA) and one of five designs (Classic, Minimal, Detailed, Hourly, Corporate) — country supplies fields and terminology only.
Enter employer and employee details, set the pay period and payment date, then add earnings (fixed amounts or quantity × rate, including overtime with your own multiplier).
Add deductions (fixed amounts or a percentage of an explicitly selected earning base), separately classified reimbursements and informational employer contributions — then preview and download the PDF.
Attendance and proration: choose calendar days in the period, scheduled working days, an explicit employer-entered divisor, or actual hourly earnings. Proration applies only to rows you flag — flagging a row and adding an unpaid-leave deduction for the same absence would reduce pay twice, and the checklist warns you. The selected method is disclosed on the slip.
Net payable = gross cash earnings − employee deductions + reimbursements. Employee deductions reduce net pay; employer contributions are shown separately and never reduce it. Reimbursements are added once and never counted inside gross. Negative net pay is flagged for review, never clamped to zero.
YTD totals: enter opening balances per group and the current period is added on top — history is never inferred from annual salary. “Finalize and carry forward” snapshots a period into local history (only when saving on this device is enabled); the same employee + pay period twice is detected and replacing reverses the old values first. Starting the next period resets overtime, bonus, attendance and payment references unless explicitly retained.
Storage and backups: templates (reusable setup), employee profiles (recurring pay, saved only with explicit consent) and drafts (the whole slip) live only in this browser when you opt in. Export JSON or ZIP packs (5 MB import limit; ZIP ≤ 50 entries and ≤ 10 MB uncompressed) to keep a copy or move to another device. Batch CSVs support up to 100 payslips (5 MB) with row-level validation, progress, cancellation and a ZIP of successful PDFs — dates accept YYYY-MM-DD or day-first DD/MM/YYYY, and batch runs never finalize YTD history.
Country fields and statutory limits: India shows Basic/HRA/allowances with PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS fields; the UK shows tax code with PAYE, National Insurance, pension and student loans; Canada shows province of employment with federal/provincial withholding, CPP/QPP, EI and QPIP; the USA shows regular/overtime hours × rates with federal/state/local withholding, Social Security, Medicare and benefit deductions. Country selection supplies fields and terminology only — every statutory amount is an actual payroll figure you enter, and no universal legal compliance is claimed.
No. The salary slip generator works without an account; remembering templates, profiles and drafts on the device is an optional opt-in.
No. Everything runs in your browser. Payslips live only in files you download, or in this browser’s IndexedDB when you explicitly opt in. There is no server-side payslip storage, payroll database or account.
No. You enter actual payroll amounts and the tool performs the arithmetic precisely. Country selection supplies fields and labels only. Estimated rows imported from the salary calculator are labelled as estimates and need employer review.
Gross cash earnings is the sum of all earning rows (after proration on flagged rows). Net payable = gross − employee deductions + reimbursements. Employer contributions are informational and never reduce net pay.
No. They appear in a separate informational section and are excluded from the net-pay formula.
Pick a method — calendar days in the period, scheduled working days, an explicit divisor you enter, or actual hourly earnings — and flag which earning rows it applies to. The method and inputs are disclosed on the slip.
Opening balances you enter plus the current period. Set the reporting-year boundary so the totals are interpreted correctly. Finalizing snapshots a period into local history with duplicate detection; replacing a period reverses the old values first.
Yes. Save an employer template, an employee profile or a draft. Starting the next period resets overtime, bonus, commission, attendance and payment references unless you keep them.
No. The PDF is the final document. Restore the editable input from a saved draft or an imported JSON/ZIP backup, edit it, and export a new PDF.
Templates, profiles, drafts and YTD history saved in the browser may be removed. Export a JSON/ZIP backup to keep a copy.
Yes. Export a JSON backup or ZIP pack here and import it on the other device. Browser storage itself never syncs between devices.
No. It records the amounts you entered. It does not prove wages were paid or taxes were remitted.
Field profiles for India, the UK, Canada and the USA with five designs each; every design keeps the same essential information. Import files are limited to 5 MB (checked before reading); ZIP packs to 50 entries and 10 MB uncompressed; batch CSVs to 5 MB and 100 slips; logos to PNG/JPEG under 5 MB and 4096 px per side.
Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type or upload leaves your device.
