She further commented that recording oneself while crying is not normal behavior and implied that Gomez’s actions were insincere.

Gomez’s now-deleted video expressed her distress over the deportation of illegal immigrants, particularly focusing on the impact on children. In the video, she apologized and expressed a desire to help, stating, “I don’t understand. I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.”
